I use this recipe on my floors and it works great, but all wood flooring is different. For a disclaimer, do not use on unsealed hardwood flooring,  you will want to test this recipe on an inconspicuous area before using it on your hardwood floors. Make sure to remove all the dirt and debris before you mop to prevent any particles that may scratch the surface. I like using a Libman Spray Mop when I clean, just add the solution to the canister, spray, and mop. Pretty simple!

Having hardwood flooring instead of carpet can help prevent an allergic reaction for those that suffer from allergies. It’s harder to clean the allergens, mold spores, and pet dander that get trapped in carpet. You get better air quality, and the air in your home is cleaner. Let’s be honest, hardwood flooring looks better throughout than having carpet in your home. Right?

The lemon oil will help remove the grime buildup on your floors. If you have stains from pets, you can make a paste with baking soda and vinegar (equal amounts), apply the paste to the stain and let sit for about 30 minutes. Scrub using a sponge or microfiber cloth to clean. Then rinse with warm water.
