3 DIY HOMEMADE CLEANERS INFUSED WITH FRUIT
When you are cleaning with fruit, you know you’re getting all natural solutions with no toxic chemicals added. Who would think you could clean with the fruit hiding in your kitchen? Lemons, limes, grapefruit, and oranges are some of the fruit incorporated into my homemade cleaning recipes. Try these simple DIY homemade cleaners infused with fruit. You will feel good about the ingredients you use for cleaning your home.
1. Disinfectant Spray                      Â
- 1 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 cup hydrogen peroxide
- 1 freshly squeezed lemon
- 2 drops nontoxic dish soap
- 10 drops tea tree essential oil
- 10 drops grapefruit essential oil
Add all ingredients to a 20 oz. glass spray bottle, shake and spray
I recommend using glass bottles, essential oils will break down plastic, and it can destroy the oil.

2. All-Purpose Spray

- 1 tsp. glycerine
- 1 tsp. borax
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 freshly squeezed orange
- 10 drops peppermint essential oil
Add all ingredients to a 20 oz. glass bottle, shake and spray
Floor Cleaner Infused with Fruit
- 1 gallon of hot water
- 1 freshly squeezed lemon
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/8 cup castile soap
Mix ingredients thoroughly, apply to your floors with a microfiber cloth or mop. I recommend using the Libman Spray Mop with the refillable tank, it comes with a microfiber cleaning pad.
I use this on my daily cleaning jobs and it works great!
Thanks for the recipes! I love making my own cleaners, they are so much better for our health, homes and the environment 🙂
