Lemon Spot & Stain Remover

Use 2 drops of lemon essential oil and nontoxic dish soap to remove grease spots, oil, gum, crayon, and wine. Add the lemon oil & dish soap directly on the stain, scrub and let soak in for 15 minutes then toss in the washer. (wash in cold water).

Lemon Drop Surface Cleaner

Add 2 drops of lemon essential oil directly to butcher blocks and cutting surfaces. Use a clean sponge to wipe surface. This will kill bacteria on contact.

Lemon Spray Cleaner

Add 2 drops of lemon essential oil to 4 ounces of water to a spray bottle to clean bacteria from countertops for sterilization. Shake bottle well to mix before each use.

Lemon Carpet Stain Remover

Use 1 part castile soap and 2 parts hydrogen peroxide, add 10-12 drops of lemon essential oil to an 8-oz. glass spray bottle. (always use glass containers with essential oils, it will break down plastic). Fill the remaining bottle up with distilled water. Shake bottle well and spray a good amount directly on the stain, let sit for a few minutes, then scrub with a soft brush. Pat dry with a microfiber cloth.

Lemon Laundry Treatment

Instead of using dryer sheets, substitute a wet microfiber cloth and add 20 drops of lemon essential oil on the cloth and place inside the dryer with your clothes to give a fresh lemony scent.

Take Stains Out of Perspiration with Lemon

Wet the underarm area on your clothing and make a lather with fels-naptha soap, (you can find this in your laundry soap aisle in most grocery stores or discount stores). Add 2-3 drops of lemon essential oil under each arm area, scrub until it forms a good lather. Let sit for about 15 minutes then toss into the washer.

Make Your Own Lemon Water Softener

Combine 2 ½ cups of washing soda with 1 ½ cups of borax to 1 gallon of warm water in an empty milk jug container. Add 20 drops of lemon essential oils. Shake container well. Add 1 cup of solution to your load of washing detergent.

Make Your Own Natural Bleach with Lemon

Add 1 cup of pure lemon juice and 20-25 drops of lemon essential oil (always use 100% therapeutic grade) to a gallon of hot water. Soak white clothes in solution overnight. Works best on polyester and cotton fabrics. Do NOT use on delicate and silk fabrics.

Safety tip: Never mix chlorine bleach or products containing bleach with ammonia-based cleaners. The fumes are extremely dangerous! Always read the labels first.

A Natural Lemon “Grass Stain” Remover

Combine ½ cup white distilled vinegar, 5 drops lemon essential oil, a few drops nontoxic liquid hand dish soap and ½ cup distilled water into a 12-oz. spray bottle. Shake bottle well and work the solution into the grass stain. Let soak for 20 minutes and toss in the washer.
