How to Clean your Microwave Oven
6. Boil 2 cups of water with lemon juice or (2 drops lemon essential oil) and vinegar, place in a microwave-safe bowl inside the microwave for about 2 minutes before cleaning. This will loosen any stuck-on food and help remove odors. Use an oven mitt or towel when removing the bowl to protect your hands, then wipe clean with a hot, wet cloth.

Keep Mold Out of your Refrigerator
7. Remove all food and drinks from the fridge. Mix 2 cups water, 1/3 cup white distilled vinegar, 1 tablespoon baking soda, (pour slowly, the baking soda and vinegar will fizz). Add a blend of cloves, cinnamon, peppermint, and rosemary essential oils, about 2 drops each. (you can substitute oils and use what you have). Add a few drops non-toxic dish soap. Mix all ingredients together and add to a glass spray bottle. Spray solution into each section of the refrigerator, let sit for 10-15 minutes and wipe clean. Let sit for 15 minutes or until the water cools, remove from water, clean with a soft bristle brush, then rinse and polish with a clean microfiber cloth.

Cleaning your Oven Without the Chemicals
10. Make a paste with baking soda, white distilled vinegar, and a few drops of lemon essential oil. I like using lemon oil because it kills bacteria and germs. Apply the paste over the bottom of your oven and let sit for several hours or overnight to soften any dried-on spills, scrub with a hard brush and wipe to clean. Wipe down your oven after each use to avoid any future hard to clean spills.
